Examples of some City Capital Projects are construction of recreation facilities, parks, plazas, streets, bridges, storm drains, sewer mains, utilities and sidewalks. Construction Inspection is involved in the inspection of all City infrastructure improvement projects.

This includes programs such as NSTEP, Sidewalk Rehabilitation, Resurfacing Program, Development agreements, other community development type projects as well as City funded construction projects including public infrastructure upgrades and / or new construction.

All public infrastructure improvements are inspected by Construction Inspection.
