Youth Basketball

Children ages 5-10 can learn the fundamentals of basketball in this "slam dunk" of a program! Located at the Park Avenue Gym, our various programs for different ages and skills levels get children active and allow them to develop fun and exciting basketball skills each week. 

6U Basketball

This 8-week program meets at Park Avenue Gym on Tuesday evenings.  The program focuses on instructing youth on the fundamentals of basketball.  The first four weeks of the program focuses solely on basic skills such as passing, dribbling, shooting, and defense.  During the last four weeks, the participants continue to practice and learn fundamentals of the sport, while incorporating non-competitive games. 

DATES: Tuesdays, January 9 – February 27

LOCATION: Park Ave Gym (2 Sunflower St. Greenville)

TIMES: 5:30 - 6:15 p.m.

COST: $50 City Residents | $60 Non City

AGES: 5-6 

8U Basketball

This 5v5 basketball league is designed to develop and instruct 7 - 8 year old girls and 5v5 7 to 8 year old boys on the fundamentals of basketball.  The purpose of this league is to provide an enjoyable recreational, yet competitive, experience for our participants. Evaluations will take place the week of November 27. First practice will be the week of December 4. 

DATES: Tuesdays & Thursdays | December 4 – February 24

TIMES: Practice times will vary but will start after 5:30 p.m.

COST: $75 City Residents | $90 Non City

AGES: 7-8

10U Basketball

5v5 9 to 10 year old girls and 9 to 10 year old boys recreational basketball. Evaluations will take place the week of November 27. First practice will be the week of December 4. 

DATES: Mondays & Wednesdays, December 4 – February 24

COST: $75 City Residents | $90 Non City

AGES: 9-10 

All Star teams will be selected by All Star coaches in divisions with at least four teams (8U and 10U divisions only) All Stars teams will compete against local municipalities in state competition. Dates TBD
